LTL
Our LTL online program makes it easy for our clients to get rates quickly and hassle-free. By simply logging in, customers or agents can use our online rating software to retrieve LTL pricing and determine the best options for the shipments and lanes requested. All our system asks for is a class or description with the weight and zip codes, and a price will be quoted. In addition, we offer the ability to print a Bill of Lading (BOL) and skid tags.
Regional or Coast-to-Coast
When you’re looking for a service provider to handle your less-than-truckload (LTL) freight, look no further than Eleets Transportation. Eleets has the experience and carrier network strength to handle virtually any LTL shipment, which typically weigh between 100 and 19,000 lbs.
Our transit times are highly competitive – as quick as next day for regional freight, and no more than five days for most coast-to-coast shipments. We strive to work with carrier-partners who move their freight through no more than two break-bulks. Major market freight is often moved with only one intermediate stop, which reduces transit times and minimizes freight handling.
Less-Than-Truckload: Quality Services for a Fraction of the Cost
One of the principle advantages in selecting Eleets as your LTL service provider is that shipments can be transported for a fraction of the cost of hiring an entire truck and trailer for an exclusive shipment. Also, Eleets offers a number of accessorial services which are not typically offered by full truckload carriers, including: lift-gate service at pickup or delivery, residential (also known as “non-commercial”) service at pickup or delivery, inside delivery, notification prior to delivery, freeze protection, and more. These services are usually billed at a predetermined nominal flat fee or as a weight-based surcharge calculated per pound or per hundredweight.
Eleets offers volume pricing for multiple shipments or for shipments that exceed the size parameters of standard tariff-based LTL pricing. Volume rates are usually offered on a spot-quote basis, and take into account the weight and dimensions of the items being shipped, as well as the amount of unused space our carrier has or expects to have in the lane where the freight is to travel. The Eleets rule of thumb is that volume pricing is generally applicable for shipments that occupy six or more pallet spots and which weigh 7,000 or more pounds.
