Eleets Transportation Awarded Carrier of the Year by Mars Petcare
JANUARY 6TH , 2012- FRANKLIN, TN– Mars Petcare, held their Annual Carrier Conference in which the company awarded their first-ever Carrier of the Year award to Eleets Transportation.
Mars is the leading manufacturer of pet food products with household brands such as Pedigree, Banfield and Whiskas.
Scott Steele, Director of Trucking stated “The most important part of this award is that it’s the first time Eleets was recognized for the entire organization’s performance. From taking the orders, invoicing accuracy and providing capacity. We didn’t win this award for hauling the most loads or having the cheapest rate-per-mile. We won the award on service, customer satisfaction, responsiveness and invoicing accuracy. It’s not an award for one person or one department, but rather a company-wide award. The entire vision statement of Eleets came to fruition with this award”.
This recognition marks the second award given to Eleets in as little as three months. The first being Vendor of the Year awarded by Mallory Alexander International Logistics Company.
